We recommend that you use version 4.0 or higher of Microsoft Internet Explorer or
Netscape. Older versions or other browsers sometimes do not allow some
functionality within our registration process to work properly. Also, we use an encryption
technology which scrambles information that you send to our server so it will not be
viewed by unauthorized people. Encryption requires your web browser to be
security-enabled. To see if it is, try the following:
- For Microsoft Internet Explorer, click on the 'Help' menu item, then click on 'About
Internet Explorer'. If the pop-up window displays the phrase 'Cipher Strength...', your
browser is security-enabled.
- For either Netscape Communicator (or Netscape Navigator), click on the 'Help' menu item, then
click on 'About Communicator' (or 'About Navigator' - depending on which Netscape product
you have). If there is a phrase about 'security enabled' or 'This version supports U.S.
security...' on the web page, your browser is security-enabled.
If you do not have the recommended browser or security, consider downloading
Microsoft Internet Explorer
-Or-
Netscape.
Although not required, we
highly recommend you use a security-enabled browser when
registering your child via the online registration web site. This helps ensure the privacy of
your information.
